Check in and Chat
This is similar to the traditional befriending line and consists of a weekly chat for anyone feeling isolate or lonely.
Community Connecting Service
This is a 12 week service which consists of a member of the community team and the caller developing a positive relationship in order to support the caller to make positive changes in their life. We will aim to connect people to local services and refer them to our organisations for further support.
Thank you once again for everyone that works for The BeHappy@home service because we truly would not be able to do all off the above without you.

The Meeting Place: Orchard House
We have linked up with Alton College and some of their students who have learning disabilities. We are bringing the students to an Abri run sheltered housing scheme and will be doing an hour a week (term time only) of crafts and offering tea and cake.
The aim of this project is to give the students more skills in a café environment and to have the confidence to mix with people of all ages. The dream is to have our own community café one day to be able to offer this opportunity to more people. We are very lucky that the students times at Orchard House is now part of their weekly timetable.
Laughter Yoga!
This amazing one year initiative aims to promote the benefits of laughter across the UK and beyond!
By recording laughter, we intend to showcase this universal language and its ability to transcend cultural and geographical boundaries.
We aim to encourage individuals, groups, work places and communities to participate in this awareness campaign, to embrace laughter as a tool for improving mental, physical, and emotional health.
We intend to raise funds to train more laughter yoga leaders, in the UK to expand the reach of laughter-based practices, allowing more individuals to experience the transformative power of laughter in their lives!
