Stress Awareness Month: April

As we begin the fourth month of 2022 we are reminded to think about stress and the effect this has on our bodies and the world around us. There is so much sadness and stress for us to ‘feast’ on at the moment that it is worth taking a moment to consider the effect on our bodies and mind.

Stress Awareness: A Reminder Of The Signs

  1. Headaches
  2. Inability to relax
  3. Insomnia
  4. Disrupted eating patterns- over or under eating
  5. Feelings of anxiety or low mood
  6. Nausea
  7. Reliance on drugs or alcohol
  8. A sense of over-whelm
  9. Procrastinating or neglecting responsibilities
  10. Chest pain or rapid pulse
  11. Emotional outbursts or flat mood
  12. Over socialisation or isolation

Energy

We are energetic beings. Energy is all around us.Energy vibrates at different levels. The energy we vibrate at is a reflection of our health and wellbeing. When we are happy and content our energy vibration is high and when we are stressed and anxious our energy is low. You will notice when you are feeling stressed and anxious things often ‘go wrong’ or do not work out the way you want them too! When we are feeling healthy and well good things seem to come along more easily, like ‘you are on a roll’! This is known as the ‘Universal Law Of Attraction‘.

There is so much in the world that is challenging, devastating, over-whelming. It is important for us to seek out opportunities to raise our vibration. To seek to reduce our levels of stress, mental and physical anguish. To be deliberate in our daily routine to build in regular opportunities to focus on beauty, on peace on art and creativity. To build in time to regulate our breathing, allow our thoughts to drift in- front of our eyes without allowing them to attach to our emotions. To be aware of what we are thinking about, our ‘self-talk’ to give it space to be heard, rather than a constant noise in your exhausted mind.

Personal Responsibility

One step to raising our vibrations and finding some space for happiness and contentment is to realise our own personal responsibility. Recognise that no matter how much we care about the misery in the world. The people we hope to support and care for. We owe ourselves the time to be aware of the energy we are projecting into the world. Asking ourselves, is my energy promoting healing and good in the world. Lets take some time this month to re-set.
